I understand how difficult it can be. You’re looking for something special that your kids can make to give to loved ones and friends.

It’s not about just buying something from a store. You want them to learn about creating something from the heart.

However, it can be hard to find ideas that children can actually make themselves. I found that many of those so-called “kid-friendly” projects are unsuitable for children.

One project required cutting out small squares of plastic, making 4 small holes in the corners, and joining the squares with wire loops?

Could you do that? I know I couldn’t! How is a child supposed to do that?

If you’re like me, you want to find some homemade Christmas gifts that your kids can mostly make themselves.

After all, children won’t find it very fun watching you make gifts for them to give. Besides it’s more meaningful for them to create something on their own.

That’s why I’ve compiled a list of Christmas gifts for kids to make independently.

These ideas are simple, and you won’t need to break the bank on supplies. In fact, many of them use things you probably already have lying around the house.

This post is part of my Christmas Activities collection. You can find all my Holiday & Seasonal Activities here, or head to the Kids Activities resource hub where you’ll find hundreds of fun ideas all in one place.
