Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats Kids Will Love
Looking for a Christmas treat that’s cute, easy, and kid-approved? These Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats turn simple snacks into sweet little reindeer with chocolate frosting, pretzel antlers, and red candy noses. In this post, you’ll get the full recipe and tips to make your own festive treats everyone will love.

Making Christmas treats is one of my favorite holiday traditions, especially with kids in the kitchen. But with everything going on in December, it’s hard to fit in anything too complicated.
These Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats are perfect because they use store-bought squares, so you can skip straight to the fun part—decorating! And since kids love Rudolph, they’re going to be all in on this festive snack.

Ingredients Needed

- Rice Krispie Treats: These form the base of each reindeer
- Chocolate Frosting: Works as both decoration and edible glue to hold everything in place. Use store-bought or make your own.
- Pretzels: Create the reindeer’s antlers and add a fun salty crunch.
- Candy Eyes: Bring the reindeer faces to life and make them extra cute.
- Red Gum Balls: Serve as Rudolph’s bright red nose for a fun, festive touch.
How to Make Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats
Gently push a paper straw into each Rice Krispie treat to make them easy to hold!

Spread a layer of chocolate frosting over the top of the square. This will be your sticky canvas for decorating.

Press one pretzel into each top corner to make the cutest little reindeer antlers.

Stick on two candy eyes just below the antlers. Suddenly your reindeer have personality!

Place a red gum ball right in the center to create the classic Rudolph look.

Give them a few minutes for the frosting to firm up—then they’re ready to serve, share, or snack on!

Variations To Try
If you’d like to customize your Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats:
- Make your own Rice Krispie squares from scratch instead of using store‑bought ones for a softer, homemade feel.
- Swap the red gum ball nose for a red M&M to give each treat a shiny, classic Rudolph look.
- Use popsicle sticks instead of paper straws to turn these festive treats into sturdy pops—especially great for little hands.
Feel free to mix and match these ideas to fit your time, supplies, and personal flair!
