Anyone who follows me knows I am only interested in kid-friendly recipes that can be put together quickly and easily.

You won’t ever see anything that requires an expert baking ability or hard-to-find ingredients. My unicorn snacks are no exception!

Let’s be honest, our parents are busy enough, and the key to a stress-free life is to keep things simple.

All three of our snacks are really easy to make. We have given you individual recipes for each snack. But we have also provided a schedule for completing all three snacks simultaneously.

The key to pretty Unicorn snacks is those pretty pastel colors. Yes, Unicorns can be rainbow-colored, but I love pastel purple, pink, and blue. Still, you can use whatever colors you want.

Obviously, you can use food coloring to create the colors. However, gel food colors actually make better colors. Add it drop by drop cautiously, as you don’t need much to get those colors.

Alternatively, you can use colored melting wafers, which saves having to make your own colors. You’ll find them in any store that sells cake-decorating supplies.

This recipe is part of my Quick and Easy Family Recipes collection — your go-to hub for simple recipes for busy families.

First, you need to gather everything you will need to make them. Butter, Marshmallows, Rice Krispies, saucepan, 13X9 pan, white chocolate melting wafers, pastel gel colors, unicorn sprinkles, and popsicle sticks.

Place 1/4 cup of butter in a large pot. Place the pot over medium and heat until the butter melts. Add a 250g bag of mini marshmallows and stir until they melt.

Now add 6 cups of Rice Krispies, and mix thoroughly. Dump this mixture into a buttered 13×9 pan. Use a buttered spatula to press the mixture down and level it. Put the pan aside until the mixture sets.

Cut into desired size portions. Hold each treat down on a flat surface with one palm on top of the treat. Gently push the popsicle stick into the treat.

Use a microwave to melt a cup of melting wafers. We recommend doing this in 30 seconds bursts until they are completely melted. Divide between four bowls. Leave one white and color the other three with gel food coloring.

Dip each pop into the white chocolate (about halfway) and place it on parchment to set.
