Instructions
Make Pizza Dough
Combine water, sugar, flour, salt, and yeast. Knead 10 minutes until a ball forms.
Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
Press dough evenly onto a greased 10×15 sheet pan. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes until lightly set.
Prepare Taco Meat
While the crust bakes, cook ground meat in a skillet over medium heat until no pink remains. Drain the grease, then stir in taco seasoning and water according to the packet directions. Simmer until the meat is cooked through.
Assemble Taco Pizza
Spread refried beans evenly over the baked crust, then layer the seasoned meat on top.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the meat, then return to the oven for 5 more minutes, until melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and add shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and sliced black olives. Slice into 8 pieces and serve immediately.
Notes
If you are short of time, purchase a pizza base and use that. It will work just as well.
