Ingredients

  • 16 ounce package Oreos
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 bags of light green candy melts
  • 1/3 cup white candy melts
  • 1 tablespoon red heart sprinkles

Instructions

  • Line a cookie tray with parchment paper
  • Place cookies in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin, or pulse in a food processor until fine.
  • Blend crushed cookies with softened cream cheese until a thick dough forms.
  • Roll into small balls and place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  • Freeze the truffles for 15–30 minutes to firm up.
  • Melt green candy melts and dip each ball until fully coated. Place back on parchment paper.
  • Drizzle with melted white candy melts.
  • Press two red heart sprinkles onto each truffle before the drizzle sets.

Notes

  • Chill the truffle mixture well before dipping, so the balls will hold their shape when placed in the hot candy mixture.
  • If the Candy melt mixture seems too thick, thin it with a small amount of coconut oil. Be careful, as a little goes a long way.
  • Be careful not to overheat the candy melts—microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time until smooth.
  • Always use dry utensils when dipping; even a single drop of water can cause the coating to seize.
