- 80 pretzel sticks
- 2 cups white chocolate
- Halloween sprinkles
- 1/2 cup black or chocolate candy melt
- spider sprinkles (optional)
On a large piece of parchment paper or a parchment paper lined tray lay out 10 sets of 8 pretzel sticks arranged in a spoke pattern.
In a large microwave safe bowl melt the white candy melts in increments of 30 seconds, stirring in between until smooth and totally melted.
Transfer the melted white chocolate to a ziploc bag and snip a tiny corner off.
Pipe a circle in the middle of all the spiderweb to connect the 8 pretzels together.
Then just pipe in circles around the pretzels to create the spider web effect.
Sprinkle on some sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
To create the spiders you can melt some black or dark chocolate and pipe a circle on the spiderwebs and then use a toothpick to drag some leg shapes out from the chocolate.
Set aside to set for 1 hour.
Serve!
- Use a piping bag for a smoother, more controlled web design.
- Use spider sprinkles instead of making spiders.
- Pop the webs in the fridge for about an hour—or use the freezer for a quick fix—to firm them up before handling.
- These easy-to-store snacks can be prepared a day in advance and stored in a single layer in an airtight container, with parchment paper placed between each layer.
