Life was quite busy enough without adding extra stress during holiday time. Naturally, I wanted to make holidays special for my kids. But I made life easier by going simple and enjoying activities that were quick and easy to set up.

I thought you might like to go for some simple activities as well. So, I decided to create a lovely activity for you to enjoy. Most kids love playing games.
Well, my boys did. So, I decided that Valentine’s game would be an excellent activity. What do you get when you mix a little love, a lot of fun, and a classic game? Why Valentine’s Day Bingo, of course!
Whether you have young kids or older teens, this is an activity that everyone can enjoy together.
Parents will appreciate how easy it is to set up. Kids will love it because it is fun and involves candy.
Let’s take a look at how to make the set and play the game!
What Do You Get In The Free Printable?

I have designed the game to be used by all ages. You get one PDF file with 15 unique Valentine Bingo cards, plus 2 sheets of calling cards.
Each bingo card measures 8.5 x 11 inches when printed on a standard printer. They feature 24 adorable Valentine’s Day pictures on them, and there is also a free play right in the middle.
The cards are set up to have 5 squares in every direction, vertically, horizontally, and created to make it easy to play.

There are 24 calling cards with the same pictures found on the cards. We’ve included a short description on each calling card. Just in case you wondere what on earth some of the images are.

How To Set Up Valentine Bingo
Materials

First, you will want to download the free printable from the library. Then you need the following items.
- Paper trimmer or scissors
- Cardstock
- Printer
- Bingo Markers
- Laminator (optional)
Let’s quickly talk about Bingo markers. You can use anything on hand, like buttons or game counters. However, why not use Valentine’s candy or mini erasers to make it extra fun? If you use candy, buy extra. There is bound to be some snacking going on.
Instructions
- Download the printable file and print the calling cards and Valentine Bingo cards onto cardstock.
- If you wish to laminate, now is the time to do that. Lamination is optional, but it makes the game last much longer.
- Cut out the two sheets of calling cards.
That’s it! You are now ready to play! See, it really is a quick and easy activity to set up.
Tips For Printing
- While you can print your Valentine Bingo onto paper, I recommend using cardstock if you have it. Cardstock is much more durable than paper, so your Valentine’s Bingo cards will last longer. You can even store them to bring out in future years.
- Check the printer preview carefully. Sometimes I need to choose fit as opposed to actual. It all depends. My printer tends to print things off to one side when the actual setting is selected. Make sure the preview looks like the pictured examples.
- I’ve put the calling cards first, followed by 15 unique Valentine Bingo cards. You do not need to print off all the cards. Select the number of cards you need and choose the pages you need on the printer preview window. 15 cards should provide enough for family gatherings and parties.
If you do not have a printer, many public libraries have computers and printers. Pop the file on a memory stick or upload it to online storage. You can take cardstock with you. Most library staff would be happy to help you load the printer.

How To Play Valentine Bingo
Now that you have set up the Valentine’s Day Bingo, it is time to play the game!
- Shuffle the calling cards, place them face down in a bowl, or leave them on the table.
- Each player takes one of the Valentine’s Bingo cards and a handful of Bingo markers.
- Invite players to start the game by placing a marker on the free play.
- Designate someone as a caller or take turns. The caller pulls out a calling card and describes the picture.
- Players seek that picture on their card and cover it with a marker. Each card has every picture somewhere on their card. They just have to spot it. We did this on purpose to make the game easier for younger players. Younger children may need a little help to find the square.
- Keep playing until one player gets five in a row. It could be five squares vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. They shout Bingo, and the game is over.
- It might be fun to let the winner keep all their candy markers! You could also award small prizes.
