Free Printable Halloween Activity Book

To help everyone get into the Halloween spirit, I’ve put together a printable Halloween activity booklet.

This book is packed with 12 pages of Halloween-themed games, puzzles, and coloring sheets. Perfect for Halloween parties or as a quiet activity when you need some downtime.

Print out some copies to have on hand for your kids during the Halloween season.

Simply print the booklet on regular copy paper, fold it in half, and staple it. You can print as many as you like, so you’ll always be prepared for impromptu Halloween gatherings.

What’s Inside The Printable Halloween Activity Booklet?

We got 12 pages of puzzles and games your kids will love. The pages are printer-friendly, so there aren’t huge areas of color to print.

You can print all the pages or select the ones you want to use. We created the book for 6-8-year-olds, but older and younger children may also enjoy them.

Putting it Together

  1. Download the file and print the pages you want. If you want a sturdy cover, use cardstock for the cover. Then print the rest on copy paper.
  2. Place the cover face down.
  3. Fold the activity pages, right sides together, along the grey line. The design will be on the inside.
  4. Press along the fold to make a crease and then unfold. Stack the pages together (face up) on top of the cover.
  5. Line the pages up and place a few staples along the crease.

When printing my activity booklets, I always prefer to print on one side of the paper.

The images tend to show through when you print on both sides, so I don’t.

But if you wish, you can print on both sides of the paper. You can use slightly heavier paper like this to stop the images from showing through. It’s really up to you!

The advantage of printing on one side of the paper will create blank pages that your kids can use as they wish.

They can fill them with their own Halloween pictures. Or, they can use stickers and stamps to decorate the pages.

A Closer Look At Each Page

We aimed this book at kids aged 6-8. As you know, 6 and 8-year-old are at different developmental levels and can do different things.

Look through the pages and choose the best activities for your children.

Generally speaking, the first three pages have simpler puzzles that are more appropriate for younger kids.

The last three pages are more challenging and better suited for older children. Each page holds two puzzles or activities, so there’s plenty of fun to keep kids engaged.

The first game is a Halloween I-spy game. There are 8 spooky objects to locate and count.

The second game is a Halloween word search. I’m not sure why kids love I- spy games and word searches so much, but they do.
