Friday Links – October 11th

Friday Links

This week’s Friday Links include craft stick dolls, Halloween bubble wands, collaborative art, and some suggestions for introducing more play into your life. I am so thankful that these creative bloggers are willing to share their ideas and resources online.  I love sharing things I’ve found on the web, so sit back, click on the links, and enjoy! If you like this list please PIN it!

Head over to Mollymoo to find out how to make some adorable craft stick dolls. This is a wonderful way to engage children’s imagination.

Melissa at Fireflies and Mudpies explains how to make Halloween bubble wands. They are super easy to make. Imagine how much fun they will be to use?

Rachelle over at Tinkerlab shares some pictures from a collaborative sketchbook that she and her five year old daughter are working on. In the post Rachelle describes how she and her daughter work together to produce the art. This is family connection at its best. I loved reading about the conversation  that occurs during the process.

I really enjoyed reading Doña’s post about being playful over at Nurtured Mama. She gives 3 really good suggestions for introducing more play into your life. What suggestions would you add?

Finally here is a something I made this week. Feel free to share it.

You are welcome! I think they are wonderful. I’m hoping to make them for the preschool Halloween party at the library.

  2. What a great roundup of such creative parenting posts — I’m so honored to be included in such fine company.
